In January 2020 the Island Resort and Casino announced a new $33 million expansion project to add 138 hotel rooms, a roof-top restaurant, a pool and water park, and convention space. Expansion Projectsįrom 2015-2017 Island Casino and Resort invested $8 million in expansion and renovations that added a new spa on the second floor of the hotel, a new sports bar, and a second golf course named Sage Run Golf Club. Island Resort & Casino is owned and operated by the Hannahville Indian community, a band of the Potawatomi Nation. The property includes a 320-room hotel with the Drift Spa, an RV park with 42 spaces, eight food and drink venues, a 1,315-seat live entertainment theater and two 18-hole golf courses. The casino offers 1,200 slot machines, traditional table games, a poker room, bingo and a sportsbook. Island Resort & Casino is located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
